Straight after the Eurobike USED headed down to the IFMA in Cologne. On Wednesday Bob, Dan, Jens (von Bandee) and Andreas (our new Sales Rep) were at the press conference to show the Bandee and the BiGBOY-bikes in Starshot design. This got a huge response and some of the newspapers were full of pictures on the next day. Bandee was also featured in an article from the biggest news magazine in Germany Der Spiegel. Daniela was filmed in Starshot shirt riding a BiGBOY with a Bandee as well, for NTV and RTL TV stations. So that means the USED-Team was in all the media and looking good in Cologne. In the article about the Eurobike we already annouced that we will put out a strictly limited edition of the BiGBOY-bikes in Starshot design. Starshot is a design company based in Munich whose work we have grown to love. They are real "on the edge" photographers and designers. Finally we found a solution to copy the airbursh designs with watertransfer decals. This allows a consumer-friendly price. This will take a while to do. Anyone interested in a Starshot bike can put their name down on a list. Means: Send us your preorder via E-Mail! Delivery date will be in March 2008.
Also from Starshot we have retro cycling uniforms in the style of the 50's. They are in stock already and are awaiting your orders. These uniforms are made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, ultra stylish and embroided with the new Cactus10 logo (the steelcactus from Bongout). They are just the right accessoir to ride our bikes. Something that USED is very proud of is the test of our pedelec ScooterBike by Extra Energy. They tested all pedelecs on the market and gave the ScooterBike Hybrid with Bionx electric system the highest recommendation which meant a "very good" for us. Read the article here!
Nevertheless our established products ScooterBike/Scootertrike, Monark, Carry Freedom, Xtracycle, Indicator and DownLowGlow have been very popular as well. We handed out lots of information about these products and advised our customers in the best of all possible ways. As always these products convinced everyone that was interested in them.
After all the daytime business USED discovered the nightlife of Cologne. With our friends from Monark, Nutcase and Bandee we spread our groove to the party people at IFMA-party, BICO-party and the Hawaii-Party as well ... we've been simply everywhere to keep imformed ... but check out the pictures below - we are not the only nighthawks in the business.
